Here is a vegetable dish that we particularly like; it can be served as a starter or as an accompaniment to white meat.
This is the recipe for artichoke hearts with anise. Tasty and very easy.
Ingredients:
For 6 persons :
450 grams of artichoke hearts (you can use frozen if you can’t find them at the market)
1 teaspoon green anise seeds
1 pinch of fennel seeds
3 cloves of garlic
1 shallot
100gr of parmesan
Olive oil
Basil
Salt and pepper from the mill
Let’s go!
In a pressure cooker, heat olive oil. When hot, put a minced shallot, 3 chopped garlic cloves. Brown. Then put the artichoke hearts, make them take the color. Then pour 200ml of salt water, anise seeds and fennel. close the casserole dish and cook for 25 minutes over medium heat. Drain the artichokes with the seeds. Drizzle with olive oil, chopped basil and Parmesan shavings. Eat lukewarm.
