What is an immortelle flower?
This flower is also called “sand immortelle” or “dune immortelle”. Its fragrant facets: honeyed, sweet, but also salty and spicy. The immortelle gives a real personality to perfumed compositions. Whether floral, chypre or amber. It is a plant that grows wild and makes the hillside so beautiful and golden in summer. It can also be cultivated in the Mediterranean basin. Its flowers are yellow. This flower has many virtues, especially in phytotherapy. Here are some of its therapeutic benefits. It treats dyspepsia, hematoma. But also the disorders of the circulation, the varicose veins, the cutaneous affections. It fights lethargy and depression. The immortelle is antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing.

This flower is reputed to regulate acne and mixed problem skin or to improve blood circulation throughout the body. It is also used to help with wound healing.
Our home recipe:
1-Pick wild immortelle in the summer.
2-Soak these helichrysum flowers in olive oil from Provence.
3-Macerate in a tightly covered container, away from the light, for a minimum of 3 weeks (ideally 6).
4-Filter and bottle in opaque colored bottles so that the light does not alter the properties of this flower.
You can use it to moisturize your skin as a night serum but also to reduce redness and couperose!
